Let's meet the Green Family...

Well I am completely new at this whole Blogging thing, but I figured since EVERYONE was doing it I would give it a try. First off, My name is Abby Green. I'm 22 years old and grew up in Laramie Wyoming. I attended school at BYU-Idaho for a short while after high school, where I met my lifelong friend and roomate Shea Green. She invited me to attend her family reunion down in New Mexico over the 4th of July in 2008. I gladly accepted and while there I met my sweet, handsome, AMAZING husband- her older brother- Cody Green. We hit it off right from the start and began dating long distance for a few months. In September we got engaged and were married November 22, 2008 at his parents home in Quemado, NM by his grandad.

Unfortunately I had to finish my semester of college back in Wyoming, so we spent our first month of marriage apart. It was hard but we managed, and he moved me down there a week before Christmas. At the time, Cody was cowboying for a Ranch down in Quemado. It was definately an adjustment for me. I'm use to smaller towns but not THAT small. I met a lot of great people down there and made some good friends, but at the beginning of 2009 there was a change in management at the Ranch and we parted ways. We moved to Silver City, NM in May of 2009. Cody was lucky enough to get a job at SunValley Do It Best and has worked his way up to the manager position over the last couple months. On top of working 40+ hours a week, he has been going to school full time to try and finish his degree in Secondary Education-Math. We welcomed our newest addition to our family on October 9, 2009. We named him Dallin Fletcher Green. He has been such a blessing in our lives.
